    Hi (I'm new here)..

Got interested by this thread since this has been a problem of mine for.. well, my life.. to the point of needing help professionally from a psychiatrist..
I can't seem to find enough creative things to do, to get thoughts out of my head (bacause that's the only ting that really works, i've figured).

So.. I'm a photographer (professionally), i paint, write poems and lyrics, produce some music.. and motorsport.. yeah, that last one really fits in, but it's one of my biggest passions next to photography.

Hi, welcome A male ENFP wow (I am ENFP)
Finding an outlet for expression is important I agree... and often it never gives a release, it's like a never ending stream of pent up expression..I honestly don't where on earth it comes from?! So I do empathise ... I self-mediacted with cannabis for years when I was younger because the endless flow of jumbled and confusing thoughts were too much and often just incredibly self-defeating back then, being stoned was an a,azing relief, so still so quiet and it calmed my mind. ..I could have done with some help, alas it was not to be. I'm glad you've found some enjoyable ways to express your innate uniqueness..

Well I've only seen female ones on here but there may be plenty and I hadn't noticed

An NTP creative motive is to make sense of the confusing world out there. It is original to the NTP, but it may be convergent creativity of something has been done before, or released subliminated work done by other people, maybe in a new form.

Professional creative writers are often composers (ISFP) merely rearranging previous work and not much original thought at all.

And then (one of my favourites) is the creative work of the historian who just guesses the answer (intuition?) and puts it down as a fact, and the critics demean his research calling it "creative writing".

    He made it all up!

Because of violence against male ENTPs called Snakes, they are rarely seen. They tend to become introverted as a survival mechanism. Or hide under rocks.

Creative writing :) I like to write novels but for a long time struggled with an idea to follow through long enough with and since MJ's death I've been so inspired and obsessed that I've written fans a huge FF and it's sort of annoying because I see like the beginnings of various original stories that I lose interest with...and because I'm so inspired by MJ now I've written like 160 pages. This story is all original though with original characters and then some real characters which is him and a bits with his family, but I could always change him into a 'purely' fictional superstar. I sometimes do short stories. Sometimes I just write down an essay about the newest thing that's inspired me. I've never really been into poetry but I've written a few. Yeah what I write and how I write all depends on my mood at the time. Some days I write until 4 am, some days my moods just not feeling it.

i love writing. i write whatever comes to my mind. i've been starting 7 "books" but never finished any. maybe some will find that extremely selfish, but i would like to show people how i feel, or see the world or whatever, but from my perspective. that's why i love taking pictures also, of nature or people.
i love cooking also, i've been pursuing studies to become a chef, searching wha tgoes with what, how to make it attractive to the eye, how to make it good, really good, how to please the customer's senses... hmm delightful, and my teacher (a chef) was higly creative and could create a masterpiece with almost anything.
or bartending, by creating new kinds of cocktail, pleasures for the eyes and for the stomach :)
hmm what else? i'm highly curious and i can not stick to one field! painting and drawing yay sometimes but not too much...

Absolutely, creativity is what makes life worth living!

I find it though that when I am in a good mood or feeling well I am in a much more creative mood as well. I think having a comunity to share your creative ideas with is also hugely important. I know i do not really feel accomplished until I share my creations with other people. Surprisingly, I am just learning this now after graduating (BFA) and loosing a great vibrant community. I really strive in a creative community environment and the loss of my peers has been a big blow.
