I come across off beat and disarming to many different people... When I first meet an INFJ I get quiter and make more eye contact and attempt to figure the puzzle out before me; the INFJ eyes are just down-right luring! If I am with a bunch of sensors then I come across as an serious introvert... But around other intuitives I am very outgoing making everyone laugh with random statements.

Whoever said that their reaction depends a lot whether they are "on" or not pretty much hits the nail on the head for me.

When I'm in the zone, I'm fairly gregarious, demonstrative (move my hands a lot, voice inflection, etc). Laughing a lot, giving people a LOT of shit.

But, when I'm feeling out of kilter, I'm pretty laid back, don't joke much at all, am pretty serious/moody/intense.

Oddly enough, I'm never really captain Awesome of small talk, and have a bad tendency to relate anything and everything back to my experiences and feels and opinions. At least I can ask decent questions!

I'm a pretty reserved person, and I don't tend to turn into my talkative & crazy self until I've known someone for... well.. at least an hour, so when someone first meets me I tend to come off as a normal, sweet, harmless girl. If only they knew...

    'Chameleon' yeah XD

I can be really quiet and serious, talkative, crazy, dazed, or INTPish as well ^^ if that's really how you want to describe it.

Always with a big smile, look in the eye, and a good handshake (as some of you have said as well). Usually with enthusiasm and interest in the other person. Not always smooth, I can trip up plenty and embarrass myself (guess that usually comes later haha), but generally introductions are my strong point.

Sometimes I have come across as overwhelming or just plain weird to people though lol. If I don't get a smile back or the person is otherwise rude or cold, I pretty much dislike them right away. "Who could be nasty to me?! I'm super happy and nice right off the bat!!" hehe.

what is noticed in immediacy of an aquaintance that is made (or so i am told and do atest to) is that i seem to be gazing intently at the person of the "moment". "Taking it all in" as it were, as though i were a parasite, feeding from all energies produced in communication until there is none left to introduce and i move on..
