    Opinions on tattoos?

Honestly, I want to get tatted...what do y'all think about tats?

If you get them because you want them, then I'm all for it. If you do it because you're trying to fit in or be "current", then you're just an asshole.

I also don't have much respect for people who get them removed. Why the hell would you agree to put ink on your body permanently only to remove it later? It shows that you lack long term thinking.

I have 8 tattoos, that Im prepared to live with until I die. So if its what you want to do, go right ahead and do it. Other peoples opinions about it are just that.

I think tattoos are cool and I want to get one eventually. I just haven't found the right thing yet. And I'm not sure where on my body I'd get it either. :3

Love 'em, but I don't think I'd get one unless it was a it was REALLY symbolic/related to a big event/realization/etc in my life.

I generally like them, so if you're ready, go for it!

I love tattoos. I've loved tattoos since I was quite young, and have always known I was going to have more than a few. Currently, I have two. Both of them mean a lot to me, which I think is the point of a tattoo. I am all for people decorating themselves, but you're the one who has to live with the artwork for the rest of your life, so make sure it means something to you. :)

If/when you decided to get one done, please post pics. :)

I like them, but it matters most that you do. Just think about the long term of it... doesn't necessarily mean it's bad to have a tattoo when you're 90, but you do have to live with it for the rest of your life.

You'll have to show us pictures when you do. I'd love to see what defines you!

I see tattoos as a permanent, creative addition to ones body.
They should be well thought out; something you're willing to look at for the rest of your life, and willing to make the effort to cover up (when and if needed for jobs, etc).

That being said; I love the ones I do have. Each one of my tattoos is meaningful and representative of something important in my life- they make me smile whenever I look at them.

Personally I'm indifferent about people getting tattoos. But it should hold meaning for yourself without worrying about anyone thinks.

You look way too pretty to even need body art.

I'm probably going to get one eventually. My uncle designed a dreamcatcher and both he and my grandpa have it. I want to put it on my shoulder by my neck going down to the arm and bending on both sides. I think that's not done too often and would look pretty good compared to just something slapped on. *shrug*
