    you are a thinker

Your cautiousness, appreciation of functionality, and imagination combine to make you a THINKER.

You have a vivid capacity for imagery that allows you to see beyond your present circumstances.

You like to be sure of yourself before voicing your opinion.

A lot of your time is spent at home, or with the people you care about.

Although you may dream often, you're very aware of how things work, and you value things that work well.

You take comfort in the familiar, and value predictability—and others value those things in you.

Accordingly, you prefer a set routine, and although you often imagine how things can be different, you're hesitant to take risks to change things.

Sometimes you doubt whether you have the ability to face certain challenges, but your practical focus helps you solve most problems.

Because of this, you tend to be more reactive than proactive, thinking thoroughly about the challenges that you face.

You have a broad-based, theoretical understanding of the world that allows you to understand its workings.

You're not one to force your positions on a group, and you tend to be fair in evaluating different options.

You're not afraid to let your emotions guide you, and you're generally considerate of others' feelings as well.

You prefer to have time to plan for things, feeling better with a schedule than with keeping plans up in the air until the last minute.

    you are benevolent

You are a great person to interact with—understanding, giving, and trusting—in a word, BENEVOLENT

You don't mind being in social situations, as you feel comfortable enough with people to be yourself.

Your caring nature goes beyond a basic concern: you take the time to understand the nuances of people's situations before passing any sort of judgment.

You're a good listener, and even better at offering advice.

You're concerned with others at both an individual and societal level—you sympathize with the plights of troubled groups, and you can care about people you've never met.

Considering many different perspectives is something at which you excel, and you appreciate that quality in others.

Other people's feelings are important to you, and you're good at mediating disputes.

Because of your understanding and patience, you tend to bring out the best in people.

    Benevolent Thinker. Huh.
The only thing I disagree with is the hesitancy bit in the thinker description. I mean, I fear failure a lot, but I've learned to force myself to get over that. Otherwise, this sounds about right.

Wow! What a cool test! I loved the sliding scale and the draining of the buckets and the grids. So creative!
    I got "Benevolent Dreamer"...

    "You are a dreamer

Your combination of abstract thinking, appreciation of beauty, and cautiousness makes you a DREAMER.
You often imagine how things could be better, and you have very specific visions of this different future.
Beauty and style are important to you, and you have a discerning eye when it comes to how things look.
Although you often think more broadly, you prefer comfort to adventure, choosing to stay within the boundaries of your current situation.
Your preferences for artistic works are very refined, although you vastly prefer some types and styles to others.
Though your dreams are quite vivid, you are cautious in following up on them.
You are aware of both your positive and negative qualities, so that your ego doesn't get in your way.
A sense of vulnerability sometimes holds you back, stifling your creative tendencies.
You're not one to force your positions on a group, and you tend to be fair in evaluating different options.
You're not afraid to let your emotions guide you, and you're generally considerate of others' feelings as well."

    "Very high empathy and femininity.
    Slightly high trust.
    Slightly low confidence.
    Low on openness and authoritarianism."

I wonder if I got influenced by my ISFJ mom, so maybe my low on openness can stem from her cautiousness? hmm...It is true though that I need time to adjust to something new...like this new PerC layout...I need time to adjust to it. haha

Oh, and my ESFP dad may be responsible for me being low on authoritarianism.

Overall, this test is insightful. It does sound like me.

So, I just took my Personal DNA test (http://personaldna.com), and these are my test results. One thing I find really funny is that I often tell people, “I am the most empathetic person you will meet. That’s what makes me so unsympathetic.” And it turns out, according to the way I answered compared to others, I may be right, lol. Anyways, I encourage you to take the test for yourself. While the results won’t neccesarily match up to either your MBTI or Enneagram completely, I think it does a good job of showing how the two do work together. Like if your MBTI and Enneagram got together and had a baby J Its not a little dinky test either, there was a lot of thought put into it, you can tell, and the method of surveying your reponses is very in tune with how most people’s thought processes work. So, here’s what I got (I am an ENFJ 2w3):

    You are an Advocating Creator.

    Read the desccription here!

    ISTP - The Mechanics

I took it the other night and it was 2 in the morning and I was really tired. I got Benevolent Inventor and thought it was pretty accurate.

I wasn't quite sure of the accuracy of some of my answers and the first page I left almost all of them in the middle because I didn't want to think too hard on them.

I took it again just now and got Respectful Idealist. Respectful is definitely more me than Benevolent. Idealist is me, but Inventor is close as well. Overall the chart is very similar except the Empathy and Openness are way down now compared to the other night.

    you are an idealist

As an IDEALIST, you are distinctive for your integration of confidence, imagination, willingness to explore, and desire for competence over style.
You have a strong capacity to comprehend the inner workings of things, finding new ideas and innovative insights to feed your curious nature.
You are quite comfortable in the realm of abstract thought. You don't need a practical solution to every one of life's questions.
You are comfortable with the decisions you make in life. You don't need to second-guess yourself, or seek a lot of opinions before you make up your mind.
You enjoy the routines that you have created in your life, and don't feel the need to shake things up just for the sake of change.
You generally succeed at what you do, and others would describe you as successful.
It is important to you that products be efficient – looking good has to come second to working well.
You aren't the kind of person who needs to collect stylish items in an attempt to create an attractive environment – you know that what matters most is function, not style.
Your independent streak allows you to make decisions efficiently and to trust your instincts
You approach problems in an analytical way, not getting caught up in your own emotions. You are an independent thinker, not wedded to the preferences of others.
You tend to do things on the spur of the moment, not sticking to a set schedule.
You do your own thing when it comes to clothing, guided more by practical concerns than by other people's notions of style.

    you are respectful

Your reserved nature, understanding of the world, and faith in others make you RESPECTFUL.
You trust those around you to do the right thing, so you tend not to get involved in other people's affairs.
You have fewer friendships than some, but the relationships you do have are very meaningful and important to you.
Your careful and practical observation of your environment has led you to understand that others' situations can be very complex.
Because of this, you are slow to pass judgments on others, even if sometimes you can't see what it is about certain things that upsets them.
You tend to enjoy the world through ideas and reflection, which allows you to get a lot out of the time you spend alone.
Your friends would describe you as laid-back and easy-going.
As someone who is calm and centered, you aren't likely to rush into things—this patience allows you to see many different perspectives and options.
