I thought you guys were charmers ;) haha
I think OP'er got impatient because no one responded. IIRC this was quite a lengthy post ...
Honestly I'm bored with people coming here talking about every girl as if she was definitely an ENFJ.
Some people think everyone they meet is an ENFJ ... especially hard to type someone as one because of Fe-Ni. Ni for ENFJs can be as mystical as it is for INFJs and INTJs.
We're a rare breed ... harder to spot still cuz we're so chameleon-like.
As for the second part. Here are some real life examples close to us.
I have mistyped as INFP, INFJ ... started thinking I was an ENTJ ... I also tested as INTJ ...
We recently have a new member join us @Etherea who mistyped as an INFJ because she had started to find some measure of happiness in her introversion [not unlike myself].
There's @marzipan01, @KC Tan and @violetta.
The best part is --- other than Marz ... none of those members were 'called out'.
Another example. I thought my sister was ESTJ. Then I started thinking ENTJ. Followed by INTJ ... and I've finally realized that even though she's not Fe dom --- she's clearly an Ni user --- and most likely an INFJ ....
Since this recent mistake I made typing my own sis .. I've decided to stop typing people from afar ... and I've started discouraging people from doing so on this forum -- especially when they come looking for advice in relationships.
Dealing with an ESFJ, ENFP or ESFP is extremely different from dealing with an ENFJ ---- and the three of the former types are most likely to be perceived as ENFJ's.
Most ENFJs happen to be type 2's or type 6's in ennea-types.
Most ENFPs fall under 7 or 4 ennea-types.
So, in a lot of ways, ENFP is more fitting for me. Combined with 8 instinct, it's likely that I would be the only one called out.
They say ENFJs are aware of social norms due to Fe.
I'm not really or if I am, I usually ignore it.
Also, when I talk to someone IRL, I normally just say I'm an ENFP as the understanding of ENFP actually makes more sense in terms of my behaviors.
I'm a 748. The only other ENFJ with that tritype is @Ariana and she's so busy irl that she hardly ever talks on here...
Huh what? This is a mistype thread?
Uh... but... the title was like... uhm... Bah....
Why was I tagged? Owh... I see...
Ah, forget about it...
Lol quite an interesting response considering you had barely nothing to go from, but enlightening nonetheless, didn't realize you guys were so complicated :P. I did originally post a fairly lengthy post about the mannerisms of you ENFJ'ers and wanted a little insight from you guys. I got impatient and simply asked her why she does what she does and funnily enough, she said she has no idea!
@Jawz I'm not entirely sure that she is an ENFJ, but she did complete the test and agrees with the descriptor summaries (not a very conclusive approach, but it's good enough).
@marzipan01 your post has confused me the most! Your an ENFJ ENFP?
I think most common enneagram types for ENFJs are types 1, 6, and 2 and a lot of the descriptions of the ENFJ perspective mirror these enneagram types. Additionally, I have been told that my enneagram type is mostly likely 612--which I believe might be due to the characteristics of my cognitive functions. However, I must respectfully disagree with this enneagram type.
There is nothing wrong with 612, it just isn't "me" and is, therefore, fairly unhelpful to me in my process of self-development and understanding.
I have been oscillating between either a 7w8 or 5w4. In either case, both 7's and 5's are uncommon for ENFJ MBTI. 7's are common for ENFP's and 5's are common among INTJ's and INTP's. I say either 7 or 5 but not 6 because I am either completely introverted and do not wish to communicate with anyone as I am completely absorbed with my own thoughts and cannot stand any outside intrusion. I will not answer the phone, etc. Or, I am so completely extroverted that I go to a party and completely free myself from my own mind--but I am never completely out of my head as I am observing the world around me and taking lots of mental notes.
Yes, I think I am a 5w4 or, possibly, a 7w8, 4w5...but, I'm giving up again on the idea that I can ever know anything. *Slams head against wall*
