Belgium? What do know or think?

Well I'm from this little place called Belgium "The heart of Europe".
I always wanted to know what other cultures thought of our little country?
So what do you know or think about Belgium?

A friend of mine who works at the airport told me that her clients often tell her that the people working at the check in counter are among the most friendly and patient in the world. Question is if you can extrapolate to every single person in Belgium or even to the majority of its population. I kind of doubt it but I'm biased because I happen to live there :)

Excellent beer. I was there back in 1994 as part of a whirlwind backpacking tour of some of western Europe. Also, stunning scenery, friendly people. Good vibe all around.

One of my good friends grew up in Belgium and loves Belgium (she's in the US now). I love Belgium just because she loves it so much and I trust her judgment though I've never been there before.

All I know about Belgium is that the EU headquarters are located there.

Never been there. Saw tensions between the French and Flemish in politics, thought that Wallonia would willingly become part of France and Flandria a state of its own. Guess I was wrong xD.
