Hum I would actually expect a woman to have job, independence, etc.

What intimidate me though is the standard of woman my age. They are approaching their mid-20s and all they have in mind is to settle and make babies. It's pretty scary for a guy like me who never even dated a girl... all these girls on the internet who want to have "serious relationship" with the perfect guy with a three line ad on the internet that says absolutely nothing about them or what they want from their partner. All of this is pretty crazy to me.

My mom gave me three essential books on the subject of men. The first, when I was 13, was "On Becoming a Woman." The second, when I was 21, was "365 Ways to Cook Hamburger." The third, when I was 19, was "How to Catch and Hold a Man," by Yvonne Antelle. ("Keep thinking of yourself as a soft, mysterious cat.. . .Men are fascinated by bright, shiny objects, by lots of curls, lots of hair on the head . . . by bows, ribbons, ruffles and bright colors.. . .Sarcasm is dangerous. Avoid it altogether.")

As many have said, I find this kind of woman attractive. Basically because then I know she can deal with her own drama. I'd be willing to help if she asked, but I have my own problems. Last I need/want to do is add on to them by trying to solve other peoples.

Nothing less attractive than overly dependent, unintelligent, push-over, submissive, "weak" woman who has no opinion or identity of her own...such a turn off. But then I guess the point of the thread was to ask for male opinion. :3
If a guy needs a woman like that to boost his ego, then it's kind of ridiculous.
    InGretable thanked this post.
