While I agree that there is much waste in the military, there is an equal amount if not more waste in education and healthcare. Furthermore, there is little evidence that spending more money will improve either healthcare or education. The evidence suggests that government involvement in education and healthcare drives up costs in those sectors. The Dept of Education was created during the Carter administration. Has education improved? No, it hasn't; it's gotten worse despite huge increases in spending. We're now spending $13,000 per student on education. That's more than enough.

So you rather us "rebuild" another country's infrastructure because we bombed their junk to the ground? or have bases in other countries world wide because we feel the need to protect our interest? The governor of my state has slash healthcare/education while the healthcare/education is already terrible, this state is ranked near the bottom of list in term of those things. How about we invest in our future at home and help the citizens here rather than build democracy in countries that do not want us there. Why do you think we are so hated around the world? Because we bully other countries when we have no business bulling.

"You're headed for a one-term presidency," Jobs said to Obama. Jobs also said teachers' unions "crippled" the education system in the United States. Among his requests to Obama were an 11-month school schedule, school days that last until 6 p.m. and a merit-based system for employing and firing teachers."

"And I’m saying it bluntly, that this administration is the greatest wet blanket to business, and progress and job creation in my lifetime." Steve Wynn (a Democrat)

The Democrats' opposition to the Keystone Pipeline will result in 12,000 fewer jobs created. That's one specific example.

In california, there was a 2009 study done (by the California State University, Sacramento) on the impact of regulations on jobs and tax revenue. The study concluded that regulations cost California 3.8 million jobs and $492 billion or $134,000 per small business. California is dominated by liberals in the state govt. These regulations are liberal policies.

Reason why companies are building factories in countries like China and India is because the cost of labor is lower compare it is in America. If you own a company and you want to build factories, where would you choose to build it; In a country with little regulation with little pay to workers or in a country with more regulation and a higher pay?

The Keystone pipeline will be harmful for the environment so I agree with not going through with it. Why put more monies in oil companies' pocket? What we need is an alternation source of energy.

Wait... how do you "try socialism"?. To truly be socialist, the working class needs to have control over the mode of production. Not to mention that a few reformist ideas does not equate to socialism, just liberalism. Keynesian economics and Marxist economics are separate ideas and should be treated as such.

Also, when the state has control of the mode of production, it's called state capitalism, not socialism/communism.

I'm not saying that the Keynesian ideas weren't the cause of the economic collapse, because it needs to be handled correctly in order to have any positive effects. However, it irks me when people confuse liberal economics with socialist economics.

If I had to go to school for 11 months a year and have to go until 6pm, I would probably put a bullet into my head.

What about the enormous death toll and economic destruction that occurs all around the world as a result of US foreign policy?

I would argue that the reason why we're so heavily invested in places like Iraq and Iran is because Democrats won't let us develop domestic energy sources. Just recently, the US Geologic Survey found that Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming contained more oil (about 3 trillion barrels, of which 50% is recoverable) than the entire world's proven reserves.

Now, if we aren't reliant on oil from the middle east, then there wouldn't be much interest in that region. We'd ignore them just like we'd ignore all the tribal warfare in Africa.

I wrote a few papers about this subject, sooooo.....ya.

We are 34th in life expectancy, yet we spend the most money on health care. 35th is Cuba. We spent an average of $6,000 a year person, Cubans spend,on average, $136. LOL, hahah......dont even FUCKIN get me FUCKIN started on health care, and how most Americans think "free" insurance is better than government provided care..... for example, my parents insurance covers the blood test, just not the cost of the FUCKIN needle.

We have the most prisoners in the world, even based on the raw number, more than China.....500k more than China.

    56% divorce rate.

Ridiculous justice system with ridiculous type of punishment and prison, supported by a ridiculous amount of angry, and vengeful American citizens....Ya, good idea, lets put a bunch of retarded gangsters in an undisciplined sub-society and expect them to come out as better people.

We have 3 different types of multi billion dollar stealth planes (although cool as fuck) that we never use, and one even hovers.

We are the richest country in the world, yet have one of the highest rates of poverty among developed nations.

We have a government run by assholes, that is supported by a population of fucking retards who think they are "free"

God hates fags by the way, even though he doesnt hate anybody...he hates those dirty fags...
Gay marriage is illegal in North Carolina and ALABAMERRR, but you can still FUCK your cousin.

We complain when immigrants do jobs we are too lazy to do.

We have a huge amount of murders every year, when we have the same gun laws as Canada, which has like 3 murders a year, JUST because they have "common courtesy".

We give speed to 4 year olds to shut them up

Democrates won't let us develop alernate energy? That's almost laughable, if anyone is stopping us from having any alernate energy, it would be the republicans. Bush, came from a family of bankers, Dick Cheney, former CEO of halliburton...who would benefit the most if the US went to war? That's right, those types of people. The US would need to borrow money to fund the war and the only objective was to obtain the oil in the area. We were lied to about the WMD the president so called said was there. Find out there was none because Bush had to make up a lie to get the American' people hehind him, so he came up with another lie saying that the Iraqis deserve democracy.
