War Crimes Tribunal Finds Bush & Associates Found Guilty of Torture

A solid case for the prosecution of Bush, Blair, Rumsfeld, Cheney, their legal counsel and others, for war crimes, crimes against the peace, torture, and crimes against humanity has been established at the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal with a guilty verdict on day 5 of the third major session of the Tribunal.
The Principles of the Nuremberg Charter and the Nuremberg Decision have been adopted as customary international law by the United Nations. The government of the United States is subject to customary international law and to the Principles of the Nuremburg Charter and the Nuremburg Decision.
I doubt anything will happen though it would be cool if these guys got tried by the Hague.

I am sure that you are correct that nothing will happen.

It has bothered me a lot that the US, for the last 25 years, seems to be constantly using lawyers to parse international law and treaties to justify actions with, at best, questionable moral and ethical basis. Torture of prisoners is one instance, incarceration at Gitmo with legal procedures that proceed at a glacial pace would be another example.

Notice how this is being under-reported in the media. If the same crimes had been committed by the regime of a country that wasn't the US or one of its allies, we would already have been preparing for war.

I doubt this will go to the Hague. Apparently this war crimes tribunal is local in nature and was formed in 2007 in opposition to the Hague.

I'd love to see them tried, convicted, and strung up for all to see.
