US Calls for Russian Airborne Troops to Take and Hold Denver Airport

A bizarre report prepared by the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation[/url] that is circulating in the Kremlin today on the joint US-Russia military drills taking place next month in the State of Colorado says that the plans received from the Americans call for Russian Airborne Troops (VDV) during this strange exercise to “take and hold” the Central Intelligence Agencies (CIA) main facility, the National Security Agencies (NSA) main facility and the Denver International Airport (DIA).
Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Colonel Alexander Kucherenko publically announced this 24-21 May “anti-terror drill” this Friday past noting that this will be the first time Russian airborne forces have held exercises with the US airborne forces on US territory. Colonel Kucherenko stated, “According to the exercise scenario, soldiers of the two countries will hold a tactical airborne operation, including the reconnaissance of imaginary terrorists’ camp and a raid. After the operation, a helicopter will evacuate the soldiers.” He further added that Russian airborne troops would be training with US special service weapons in these drills in Fort Carson, Colorado.
Not known to many Americans is that over the past decade both the CIA and NSA have transferred their main bases of operations to the Western US. The CIA announced their transfer to Denver in 2005 with many speculating their main base of operations has been placed beneath the Denver International Airport. The NSA, likewise, has transferred their main base of operation to Utah and created what is now called the United States biggest spy center in Bluffdale.
Also interesting to note, this report says, is that this entire exercise will be overseen by the “drone army” owned and operated by the University of Colorado who have over the past few years has applied for and obtained over 100 Certificate of Authorization’s (COA) from the US government to fly their pilotless surveillance aircraft for reasons still as yet unknown.
This is just mind-blowing... this raises so many disturbing questions and raises the possibility that there's some kind of plans for a crackdown under the guise of a anti-terror training exercise. It could easily be, and would be the perfect cover, nobody would ever expect it.

Our government has become increasingly divorced from the will of the people, and has become increasingly adopting trends that are resemblant of oppressive regimes.

If this is a plan for a crackdown, it would make a lot of sense to employ either mercenaries or foreign troops to perform the ugliest aspects of the crackdown. It is not uncommon for oppressive regimes to use such people because they have no ties to their own people and no real moral hesitancy to use deadly-force which our soldiers might.

I assume most people here are knowledgeable about US history, but for those that aren't: During the Revolutionary War, the British actually employed Hessians (who were German) against the Continental Army.

The US is trying to make friends with the ruskies, probably over Iran etc.

    @The Proof

There have been rumblings about plans for crackdowns this summer... this seems a little early, but it is consistent.

When you consider the president cannot authorize military personal into a state without the request of the state this could be a loophole. Either way it looks like we've befriended Russia to use as our next shield whenever that may be.

Maybe the U.S. needs to see it in action to try to anticipate proper counter measures. It might be a way to control parts of a nation although I think that would create more suspicion and raise panic when compared to national guardsmen telling another citizen to go home.

I wish I could have one of those drones.

The article is from the European Union Times, a libertarian oriented on-line source with zero credability. Last year they reported on a secret war with UFO's over the Pacific!

Hey man, I was in that war. It was hell.
Damn aliens came down in rows and columns. Sneaky bastards shifted side to side in a predictable fashion, losing altitude and increasing speed with each successive pass. It was horrible. We tried using a laser cannon, but we caused more damage to our own shields than they did.

That's correct, plus American military personnel might not be as willing to obey an order to use lethal force...

A shield and a sword against the population...

If you read the links in the article -- the statement about Russian Airborne troops being used is confirmed already, as for the link that mentions the drone fleet -- that's the EFF which are highly reliable.

Part of me wonders if these drones will be used against the population when the time comes. Some can be armed and it seems that military personnel find it easier to use drones against people
