How to imagine the 10th dimension (really)

The best description of the perspective of dimensions I've ever encountered--literally.

Watch for a really good mindfuck.

    And PLEASE----discuss :)

It's like the small makes the big and the big makes the small and they're so twisted and entangled into each other than they're like... the same... Far out maaaaan!

All joking aside, I wonder how many scientists are practitioners of herbalistic medicine...

How are there not more replies to this?

Come on posters--come back to check for fun, and find hardly ANYONE AT ALL cares about actually imagining the 10th dimension?????

Come on guys, this is amazing stuff! Let's discuss/speculate/etc the possibilities of such awareness, especially if it were completely validated instead of just inferred from what we know now :O

    POST, EFF.

:D And Happy Mother's Day, mums!

Well, what's left of my brain is still processing...
So what are the implications of all this? This is based on the string theory it seems. But doesn't string theory say there could be up to 10 dimensions?
Basically, this is saying that we, as humans, are stuck in the three dimensions that we can observe. Maybe, this explains prophetic dreams and remote viewing. I mean, I have prophetic dreams all the time. At least once a week. I write them down and they come true. It's usually inconsequential stuff like eating at a restaurant or washing the dishes but one time I dreamed that I saved a girl's life and two years later I saved that girl's life.
    Mind = blown.

This guy has really been raked over the coals for his common-sense approach to higher dimensions, mostly by those in the field or those knowledgeable of it. Mostly because he cites modern physics, but diverges radically from the requisite math. Here are some interesting beratings from amazon. I'm sure there are more authoritative critical reviews, but I'll leave that for someone who cares a bit more.

I do think what he's done is pretty cool and useful though. I find some of the implications of consciousness and causality to easily engage with higher dimensions. Who is to say consciousness is constrained to 4d? What if meditation lays the 4d mind to rest and the 5d or even 6d mind becomes active? It's a fun endeavor to blend science fiction with spiritual cultivation.

One of my concerns with his system is that he puts time as the 4th dimension. Seems like the poor flat landers would see time as the 3rd dimension.

Whoaaaa what did I just watch, I don't even---- *click* ohh got it.

    Cool.

But I don't feel like it's the only way to look at it, since it assumes beginnings and ends and initial conditions.

Seen it a long time ago, still awesome. An interesting view on reality, though not the only one. How about....

In each black hole is a universe, we could be a black hole of a higher universe.

This is a virtual universe. Assuming that sentient beings build simulations eventually one would build a simulated universe for the sake of knowledge, then the sentience that forms in the simulation too makes a simulation ad infinitum.

I know there is far more than just that, all great ways to screw your perception of reality.

None of this has anything to do with String Theory.
