Do you have a self actualized vision?

What emotions will you experience when you achieve your most far-reaching goal or self actualized person?

What would stop you from desiring more and be content with where you are and what you have?

For me, I am so curious about the world. My desire is to experience more of it.

As far as a self actualized vision, I am not sure if this makes sense, but to know I am not what I think I am but just be what I am. That feels right, but I may come back to change it.

    No emotions.
Having no emotions leads to having no desire.
Without desire, one accepts what is, and is able to make adjustments necessary to fit into what is.
One adjusts oneself, to fit the whole, thus becoming the whole.
Want to change the world? First you must become the world.

The thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless.

    ...Metaphorically, that is.

    Sickening. Metaphorically, that is...

I foresee myself responding dynamically and spontaneously to emotions rather than categorize everything with intellect. This, of course, would be Jung's notion of individuation where Ti and Fe are no longer in conflict with each other.

Have you ever wondered what emotion is good for, if anything? Just asking...

Maybe I should say that there is a spectrum of emotions, running from base to sublime. The base ones, in moderation, make life interesting, and the sublime, like the joy of learning or the bliss of tranquility are very motivating. Emotions also seem as an integral part of the human being as any of the other senses. I'm not sure what they're "good for."

I contend that emotion is intimately connected with the ego, and its intended purpose has to do with the ability to empathize.
This is why, although I see ego as a potential enemy of being, one is ill advised to "destroy" it.
Like any other human part that is capable of supplying pleasure, it tends to become over-used and abused.
Self-control is difficult, and people have largely become unwilling to undertake anything that is not instant, or easy.
Emotion has a use, but it is too often used for things, and used in such quantities, that it was never intended for.
That is where I am with it, currently. I am sure I will discover more, as time goes by.

But if you aren't there already, then how can you really ever know?

And if you really do know, then aren't you there already?

I am happy you noticed. Thats why I talk about desire. Will there ever be anything that you obtain that will stop you from desiring more. I always try to imagine what it would feel like to experience some desire fulfilled, then I will no longer "need" to achieve it. You also bring out a point that, we are already good enough and complete as we are.
