    So not thinking clearly :/
Even if you had the one time amputation.. you can still have phantom pain/itching from where the appendature was and no longer is... you have only removed the body part, not the part of your brain where the message is actually originating and telling you that there is pain there... I dont know if it would be worse to have an itch you can't scratch :(

You know what --- thank you so much for such an honest response --- I had gotten tired of the usual responses I got. Some people try to minimalize what I go through and constantly ask me to be "stronger" in the end making me feel guilty about my own lack of efforts -

and some people over-exaggerate my own feelings by over-blown expressions of kindness that I don't need because it forces me to turn around and say "No, I'm ok .. I don't want you to worry" -- sometimes it's good to hear an honest opinion. Thank You !

Listening to Thriller again for the first time in 3 years...Quincy Jones is a fucking genius. Of course, MJ also, but the music production itself is just...holy crap. :D

Your Welcome! Pain is an relative thing, no one can judge how much pain you actually feel mostly because each person has their own pain tolerance and each body is composed differently. I couldn't begin to imagine what your pain is like for you, even if I ever had the same type of infliction. I can't compare your pain to anyone elses either. I'm not even going to pretend that I know anything about the pain you experience personally, but I do know that because it is yours, you are the only one who can truely know and measure it in your own terms. As a learning medical student, the only thing I could even imagine doing is offering some known ideas to try to help you with your pain, most of which I am sure you have already tried :(

Lol. That's what I use this thread for--random complaining or rejoicing.

I was facing something difficult for years when I was younger - being a teenager and doctors trying to convince me I needed to have my entire colon removed and have a colostomy bag for the rest of my life... and that I wouldn't ever feel better without it. Like Nadine said though, it was never my colon that was the problem point of origin, it was my immune system. I sought treatment/health improvement via The Living Foods Institute in Atlanta, GA. It's amazing what kind of regenerative properties raw living foods have, and the endless list of illnesses they can help address. Anyway, I was in remission from 19yrs old until just recently at 25. I haven't been practicing the raw foods for a while and am trying to stabilize so I have the energy to restart that aspect of my health.

I wish you the best and hope you can find a remedy for the actual issue and not just the western medicine remedy of treating the symptoms.
