    I challenge you

First prove to me that you exist, and that you are not just part of my imagination.
Second, prove to yourself that I exist, and that I'm not a part of your imagination. I'm not going to help you with the second one because I don't know if you exist until you prove the first.

The fact that you see me post here proves I exist. Even if i'm a computer posting this. I exist.
Even If i am a hologram. I am still posting this. I still exist.

I think I'm hallucinating... I'm seeing these strange words of an unknown origin!

Seriously, you'll have to do better. I've heard trees that were more convincing about their existence. They told me. And I am entirely serious.

It is impossible to prove any external entity's ontological status without certain epistemological suppositions already in place.

I am not just in your imagination, because you would have no way of accurately reproduce the entirety of my memories, all of which I am currently thinking of. Also, I have several dozens of current connections with people and that would be too much for your imagination to juggle.

If I am part of your imagination, then make me do or post something. I swear I won't do it.

By posting your ideas on this forum, you have proven that you think.
By responding to you're thread on this forum with my own ideas, I've proven that I can think.
The only deduction we can make about reality is that we think, therefore we are.
If you and I both think by way of physically manifesting our thoughts in an online forum, then we therefore both are.

Unless he is schizophrenic and we are the manifestations of his alter egos.

Schizophrenia does not result in multiple personalities, just auditory and visual hallucinations.

MPD (multiple personality disorder) on the other hand....

But by saying that couldn't we all just be multiple personalities of one another?

Who would be hosting the thoughts though? And back to my point, one person could not have the power to imagine an entire world of entities with varying ideals and backgrounds.
