If god actually existed, then why...?

If God actually existed, then why are there so many languages? Since God wouldve created people, and obviously a language for them to use amongst themselves and to comunicate to god and vise versa. So why is it that there are so many languages? God wouldve made a perfectly usable language, well it wouldve been PERFECT since god is omnicent. And so why is it that cultures from all over, use different languages, why would he not give them the same languages?

Ancient religions from all over have different religions in different languages, and so how could it be that the same god that made all of us, introduced a different language between each culture-(making comunication between people harder mind you), and at the same time the religions are completly different from one another, just as the language. And Why would god want everyone to be for one religion, when everyone speaks a different language! it just doesnt make sense... Wouldnt it be logical to assume that these cultures developed on their own and not by a universal creator.

Also another point... makes me think, how could a God which is omnicent, Fail at maintaining his own religion.

The Bible's way of explaining it is via The Tower of Babel.

God wouldn't have introduced the languages, we would have created them...For the most part, God is a mystery so we really don't know...cultures themselves originated with people, not with God...and actually, some religions are quite similar
And people have the power to make their own choices; what I was taught is that people can choose what path they take, God doesn't control them

I shy away from trying to understand God too much though, this is all I can say
Not that I really know God, but he would have given us the way of thinking to develop the beautiful cultures we have, not the cultures themselves

God invented free will for a reason. He will not hold it against you if you do not believe in him.

When the Bible was written, people didn't know much about how languages had developed. Now we know all about language families (Germanic, Romantic, Slavic, Altaic, Turkic etc) and the relationship between different languages. The Bible is full of historical and scientific errors as well as glaring contradictions.

A rather non-serious video on this subject -

So why send non-believers to hell?

But if god wanted us to follow a specific religion, he wouldve made a language for that religion. Obviously, then how would the religion be comunicated. And so if everyone at one point spoke the same language, why would a group of people alrady speaking a perfect language, want to create a whole new language if they already knew one?

The hidden things are God's. (Deut. 29:29) If you believe in God and you can't accept that the Tower of Babel explicitly explains the different languages, then you might have to fall back on the passage in Deuteronomy.

Valid point...what I've been taught (raised Catholic) is that the people who don't believe wouldn't want ot be with god anyway...so why would they want to go to Heaven?

Do you have a different idea of God or are you saying the people themselves send themselves to hell?
