    Why don't men wear skirts?

I've never understood why there hasn't yet been some big movement for men to be able to wear skirts and dresses, or why there should even need to be a big movement and it can't just be a thing.

Sorry for not writing more, but the title pretty much says it all.

Most of us don't want to wear skirts and dresses.

Doesn't interest me one bit. They don't really flatter the male shape..

I would imagine because we're happy enough wearing what we're already wearing. Same thing for why there isn't a male-centered movement to have men become like women. We're happy enough with how we are.

Also, the above is rubbish, since there's no way any one person can speak for the entire male population on views.

The better question is why won't more women wear skirts!

Regarding those of us who do want to, why is it taken to be such a bad thing, instead of just another clothing choice?

Meh, these rules get defined somewhat arbitrarily, and unless skirts get attached to some other liberty issue, I doubt there's going to be. I can still wear a robe in public, which is essentially a dress.

Pants are more convenient for the purposes that clothing serves. The real question is why women wear skirts. They get in the way of most physical activities. They're less modest because they can blow around. They're not as warm. Heck, most women have already switched over.

Hell yeah. When will wizard robes be acceptable in public?

It's OK in public as long as you don't have a hat to go with it.

Heh. Of course, you're talking to a guy who dresses his 15 month old daughter as a pirate. And no, it's not halloween.
