At this point, I'm willing to pay for them to at least put the first episode online somewhere. I just can't stand waiting anymore!

Also, for the opening sequence, the airbender appears to be an adult Aang with a beard. Though it could also be his son Tenzin, since he has a beard as well. But logically, since the earthbender was Avatar Kyoshi, and the firebender Avatar Roku, I assume that the airbender was an adult Aang. I'm just already in love with this show, and it hasn't even started yet. I hope it doesn't suck lol.

I believe the old airbender was Tenzin. Aang's youngest son.

I realize that Avatar is a US-American show, but I've never been able to get into it for the same reasons that I can't get into other anime: the production values are just awful. The animation's bad, the voice acting is mediocre, and nothing about it draws me in. I tried Avatar, and watched actually quite a bit of it, but it just made me cringe a lot of the time. If it were a manga, I would read it; I do love reading manga.

The amount of fanboy squeeing that has gone on in my house in anticipation for this show is too damn high!
