    REAL emo/screamo & math rock!

i've decided to make a thread combining the two genres since i haven't met a whole lot of people who are very into either one.
if you happen to be one of these people, write down your favorite bands! let's be friends!

here are some of my favorites (a few of them aren't fully considered emo or math-rock, but close enough):

    emo:
indian summer, portaits of past, neil perry, i hate myself, still life, la quiete, funeral diner, saetia, raein, pg.99, rites of spring.

    math rock:
don caballero, cap'n jazz, algernon cadwallader, american football, maps & atlases, little kingdoms, rooftops, pennines, giraffes? giraffes!, ghosts and vodka, piglet, toe, sharks keep moving, the one up downstairs.

    phew!

    anyone?

Oh nowhere special, just Time Square. Do you mind if David Bowie officiates our wedding? There will be ziplining from a hot-air balloon involved. (my dream wedding)
Those two songs were amazing and so different from my iTunes portfolio, I want MORE

I use to listen a bit of emo a few years ago. I remember liking Off Minor, Amanda Woodward, Orchid, Final Bâton and some of the bands you mentioned (saetia, Funerai Diner, la Quiete). I never really listen to the other but I heard about them.

I will try to listen to them when I have time thanks for the reminder!
