Words of an ailurophile

I'm going to let you in on a personal secret of mine. Its not intimate or directly embarrassing, but it is something that I am much too aware of, without really doing anything about it.

I hate everyone. No deeply and with passion, but I don't have trouble finding some little irrelevant thing about someone else, that I despise and think bad of.

Now you might see me as a judgemental and angry person now. You probably don't think anything good of me for thinking that way ...

I never really understood those people who when "cleaning" their facebook friends list, make a status update saying something like "I'm cleaning my friends list and remove a lot of people ... if you still want to be my friend, comment on this status within the next 24 hours"...

If you want to clean out all the people who really aren't your friends any more, or you know actually doesn't give a shit about you as a person, just do it for heavens sake, and let people ...

Its Christmas in many places in the world right now, and its also Christmas in Denmark.
So I wanted to tell you a little about Christmas in Denmark, here where I live.

Something we Danes are suckers for, is traditions. We simply love them! Most of our Christmas traditions are very old, and I guess not all Danes are even aware of why and how it all started.
A great example is that most people think that Christmas is about celebrating Jesus' birthday. Our word for 'Christmas' ...

Now I might sound a little paranoid, but a thought - a feeling - suddenly stuck me.. I couldn't help but feel at everyone is always just pretending. No matter what. If they try to be nice, polite, have interest, love, be an arrogant dick, self-confidence, all that ... Just a pretend... because you have to.

Because really, you can't really tell for sure... You don't know what people are thinking or feeling, and I bet they themselves probably don't know for sure either.... We do so ...

I've been waiting forever to make these awesome rainbow cupcakes, and since I'm making them next weekend I've decided to wait to buy all the fresh ingredients like eggs, milk and cream cheese for the frosting..

First I bought these really expensive food colouring, 3 different colours (red, yellow and blue) 20 kr each (thats almost $4 each).
Later I go looking for small chocolate lentils like Smarties Mini, because they were also too expensive at the last store.
