Is it necassary? I avoid contact on a daily basis. For some reason I am currently craving it. I dont understand the emotion, why do I feel this? I am an INTP, I cant remember the last time I hugged or kissed someone. It is an curriosity I recently stumbled upon. I never sought contact, but I cant help to just talk to someone. Explain to me what this can resembole. I stand corrected for any gramtical errors.

It is in our human nature to be social....after going a long time without contact is it not natural that you would crave contact? I think for us to thrive, contact is necessary. But how much contact is very individual. :)

We need other people in our lives. Our brain and bodies respond very well to hugs and the human touch of other we feel comfortable. One of my favorite neurochemicals is the so-called cuddle hormone oxytocin that is stimulate in the body when we engage ourselves in so called bonding behaviors. It has a particularity that I haven't found to date in any other component in the entire human body. The more oxytocin that hits receptor in your brain, the more sensible you are to it. Everything else in the brain gets down regulated. Oxytocin also helps us to control cravings. There will be a lot less addicts in the world if there was more human contact.

Not entirely I do not allow people to hug me, even touch me. There must be a space between me and other people, possibly because I trust no one, I am not claustrophobic.
