Hey all --
The title says it all. I'll be retiring my PersonalityCafe account. xezene, for now at least, will rest in peace.
Sitting here typing this, I can't help but remember the many good laughs and insights while being here on this forum. I have met so many beautiful people here. You've been with me through the hardest times of my life, and I cannot forget that. And the ways in which I have been helped by your reflective words are beyond number.
Here is my newest -- this is a cover of Slowdive's 1993 song, "Dagger." Hope you like.
I'm excited to share with you all a song that I really think has some of the best, most deep lyrics I've ever come across. I gave it a quick performance here, and although I mess up a bit once or twice, I ended up posting it. To a song with actual, great lyrics & a good tune-- enjoy!
They started up the hill
With their young lives exploding still
This is what happens when my roommate and I wander into the guitar room of Best Buy...with picks and a handheld microphone. I'm on lead and he's stuck with rhythm.
Here is my poorly-rendered but hopefully enjoyable Christmas jingle-jangle to you all. Have a good holiday, and life doesn't suck -- let's make life great!
