I was reading through some old poetry of mine today. Gosh what raw stuff I write! This I thought would offer some hope, positivity and reflection. I know we've all heard about the calm before the storm but there is inevitably a calm after the storm. This was the start of my calm after the storm and it seemed only fitting to share it when so many people on here seem to be in the midst of their storm.

YEah, like the title says - feeling quirky today. A little disappointed they don't have a mood bar that says "quirky" with googley eyes!~

I'm feeling the need to do something different today, go against the grain of my typical INFJ self. I think this stems from going to play bar bingo last night (won $12). I drank 2 beers (enough to get me "brave") and didn't even get embarassed when I made a funny remark that people actually heard, understood, and laughed ...

Today's goal - to get re-organized! I've always been told that I'm always organized, plans well thought out etc. - however it's time to re-organize my own home! Time to simplify, get rid of the things I have no use for, place like things together and so on. I've let things slide and it's time to Spring Clean! Honestly - how many junk drawers and collect-all boxes can one woman have?!?! Anyone have any tips? Anyone? Anyone?

Ever feel like you make the same steps time and time again? And once you notice them & acknowledge them do you think it's something you can change about yourself? It's the same old dance that we do time and time again.

Is it fear that influences our ultimate decision? If so, what are we afraid of? Are we afraid that the music will stop? Are we afraid that the music will keep going on and ultimately be a song that we dislike?

Do we see that our fear manifests ...

Life started yesterday for those days are sure things
Never count on tomorrow for we know not what it brings

Cherish each moment; live with fire, passion, and little regret
For tomorrow "today" will be a memory; something not to forget

Be sure to include each day with a small dose of laughter
A good joke, embarrassing moment, happy times are what we're after

Take tough times in stride; learn from each moment that you've had
