-How do you respond to emotional pain?
I cry, I shake, I apologize (if appropriate, or what seems appropriate to me), I spill my feelings, I turn to friends and family for support (but often after a period of shock where everything stays in).
-How do you approach problem-solving?
I try to get a strong idea of the issue and different perspectives; I make a lot of decisions based on my emotional reactions and how the problem relates to me/how I'd feel in the other person's position; I try to apply an amount of reason, but my emotions tend to over-flood reason.
-Describe your views on ethics and morality.
I am open to some other value systems rather different than my own, but there are core issues I refuse to budge on. I think there needs to be respect for all life and the beauty within life. We should all try to treat each other as they wish to be treated, be honest unless it comes with bad repercussions for innocent beings, and have a basic respect for all humans and the rest of nature.
-What do you dislike about others?
Arrogance, dishonesty, not being themselves, cruelty, selfishness, lack of empathy and sympathy, jumping to conclusions about me, people thinking they understand me better than I understand myself.
-If you could improve one personality trait, which would it be? Why?
My tendency to take things too personally and be too emotionally affected by people who are critical or unkind.
-What do you seek to overcome in this lifetime?
My doubts about my talents, my creative blocks, my anxiety, my grudges.
-Describe how peace and aggression interact in your personality. (gut-fix related)
I greatly value peace and hate aggression. Anger tends to build in me without me being aware of it and then I spill it out in cruel words when I'm pushed too far. I hate feeling angry or aggressive -- I find those feelings very undesirable. I try to create peace in my environment and calm people down/help them to feel more peaceful. I get panicky when I see aggression.
