I'm reading an enneagram book: "The Career Within You: How to Find the Perfect Job for Your Personality" by Elizabeth Wagele and Ingrid Stabb. Wow - - as far as their descriptions go - I'm quite a bit of a 4! I think my Fe and my 'J' make me relate to type 2s and 1s but in the context of this book relating to the workplace - everything it says about what 4's experience in the workplace is sooo me!

I'm intervening, sorta, between you two, even though I failed the last time. Luckily nothing bad came out between you two (or the three of us for that matter), you even (we even?) bonded a little. I missed to say V. that, although there were no problems between you two, from my point of view you were socially inefficient :p. I know, I know, I'm overreacting and rationalizing my wrongdoings. Not to mention my social failings.

I'm wondering if I should show you this. The reason is paradoxical. The point of this is to tell you everything honestly, yet lately I feel a need to write all kinds of things which I'm hoping would make me feel better because I wrote them down, and that would require writing all kinds of embarrassing things. And some of those things I don't want to talk about to you, and yet, the whole point of these letters is honesty. See the paradox?

This is, obviously, a little different post. One day I was reading the descriptions for type 4s mostly here and here and because I recognized so many parts of me in the descriptions I copied the parts that I identify with for my friends to read in the hope they'll understand me better.
