  1. The labyrinth within the eternal labyrinth that is my mind.

Each day, I spend around 90% of every hour daydreaming. Even whilst doing something and being able to concentrate at the same time. I believe that this is why I’m able to teach myself multiple instruments by ear and seeing the music in my mind. Why I can create multiple abstract designs and sketches. Why I store inspiration, shapes, colours and sounds inside me like an archive of artistic potential waiting to be unlocked and taken apart. Like my every heartbeat is some creative pulse that sends ...
  2. Delusional Thinking.

The human mind: An interwoven tapestry of intricate design. If used in the right way, it can make us capable of the most unfathomable levels of thought and creativity. Though mortal we are in form; In spirit we may transcend even the deepest oceans and tallest mountains. What some may call “Delusional thinking” I call: “Creative thinking”. by , 08-31-2012 at 09:28 AM
The discussion of what is a "hard science" and what is a "soft science" has existed for probably as long as science itself has existed. As a psychology B.A. who had many close, physics major friends in college, I have participated in this discussion more times than I could count.

There is something about physics majors that I'd like to (lovingly) call "scientific arrogance." In their scientific pursuits, physicists are able to support the existence ...
  5. Confronting My Fear...

    by , 08-25-2012 at 04:48 PM
So, ever since I was like 5 or 6 I've been terrified of E.T. Last night I began my journey to confront it and the reasons why, basically just trying to understand fear, or at least my specific fear, and (hopefully) overcome it. I watched the movie, and wrote a stream-of-consciousness blurb which is below. If anyone knows anything about fear and confronting it (NOT hiding from it, making 'everything be ok', feeling better about it, or any of that hiding/repressing garbage. I'm looking to actually ...
