    I totally agree with Napoleon227 that you must be careful to keep the focus on your future and how your history (however traumatic) has equipped you to face it. Focus on the strengths you gained from the trials you endured -- not the trials, themselves.

    Physicists (Rationals) with May Birthdays

    A correlation* story:

    • In college I had an upper-level physics course with four other students plus the professor (6 total).
    • All but one of us had a birthday in May (83%).
    • We were all Math/Science nerds (Rationals, I'm guessing).

    SOME ADVICE FOR STUDENTS:

    1. Not everyone should go to college. Some folks just aren't cut out for academic life. This is not an insult. Some people are just more "Doers" than "Learners" and want to get down to business right away.
    2. You don't have to go to college right after high school. Some people aren't mature enough to do well in college at 18 years old. You can always go back to school after you have worked in menial jobs for years and are better
