spending more and more time on the INFP forum things have turned so..depressed.it makes no sense to me why we have to be the depressed fucked up ones, everyone their is so nice interesting and just nothing but good but we still wayward(best word to descibe us imo)and we don't know how to deal with it. i just feel so much for everyone their i can't stand seeing them all so unhappy but there is next to nothing i can do about it. we just care about things at a level msot peoplecan' understand and thenwe expect the same from people and it just dosen't happen. i love when things are centred around poetry thats what we do best we express so well we understand but there something that just dosen't hitch with us..

Perhaps our blessing is also our curse. There has to be balance somewhere.

It's not all about depressive things though. We tend to prefer to express our inner turmoil here, because it's safe. It doesn't mean that's the only thing we think about, or our only experience. More, that that is the preferred thing to express here. Remember, we're introverts. We don't need to express everything. What we choose to express is usually what we deem to be really important. So we're not going to prefer to talk about every day things. More the things the we deem to be more important.

Also, the majority of infps' that visit the infp boards, are under 24. They experience a lot of issues that we all do at that age... and here is a good place to talk about that confusion and angst that comes during that transitional, rocky period.

    :)

I think you can do a lot for people, just with your empathy. You're a good listener, right? reach out to people! I'm sure you can do it.

Living life constantly thinking about the meaning of things, and what our values are, is hard. But if infps' can get through that, and find a way to maintain meaning no matter what, there are a lot of positives that can be gleaned :)

I know what you mean... and it's hard to see, because you know where they've been through too. And you can see yourself in them.

But i'm sure many would also really appreciate someone reaching out to them too, especially if you have first hand experience and can really empathise :) you can always do something for them. Regardless of how small it seems. I'm sure you know as well as I do, even saying hello can brighten their day!
