...and then my id told my superego to shove it

I lost my phone two days ago,
But my brother found it last night.
My AC adapter stopped working,
But I got another today.
I also ordered a battery with a longer life,
But I forgot to make sure it was compatible
With my laptop... so it's going back.
I went to my favorite class,
But my gorgeous crush was not there.
Then I prepared to face a raving mad former military professor,
I thought last night and this morning I had a draft due,
But it's not due until next week,
And she actually steered me in the right direction.
Our car broke down at my university,
In the middle of an intersection,
But two guys helped us push it out of the way,
We got a tow truck to take it to the shop,
And one of those kind men drove us home.

I am a type 9, and I do love this balance.
I wonder, do things seem to even things out
Because that is how I like to think of them?
Or, does my will for my life to be balanced make it so?
Or, does life listen to me sometimes?
Or some other higher power I hope does not exist?

It's amazing, and beautiful, but a roller coaster, this life.
And my mom, my brother and I were all so calm this whole time.
And a girl named Ella was singing a song from the Lion King today, and introduced herself to me, for no real reason.
