Is the Enneagram supposed to seem at all insightful? Is there some secret I don't know? On every test, all the answers seem to describe me about equally, all the descriptions of different types seem to describe me about equally, and what I score highest on seems to vary quite a bit based on my mood. That doesn't seem all that helpful or accurate to me.

I just set mine to 4 because I primarily like thinking of myself as a "creative" person. Honestly, though, WTF?! How am I supposed to make heads or tails of such an incomprehensible system!?

(It's funny cuz it's my 9th blog post. Get it? Ha. Ha. Ha. )

I would leave any kind of test, and start reading some serious book (like "Wisdom of the Enneagram"). Read the analysis of the types, they traits, their motivations etc. and then start wondering which one could be more "you". No test can tell you really which type you are.
