I have got a blog on another planet: http://soredragon.blogspot.com/
http://www.glaucus.org.uk/Perseus.html
I checked out your blog. I have difficulty understanding some of the underlying origins and definition of some of the terminology you use. I like some of the insights you make and contemplate.
I am sure it needs a translation. I will have to collate the blogs into a more readable story sometime.
There is hardly any recent stuff from you in the Personality Cafe. One of your blogs concerns mpeople interaccting and friendship with the same types, I'd prefer to see your views on interactions between the differing types. As sually same types get along OK together as they have smilar views and thoughts etc.
http://www.glaucus.org.uk/Types-Comm.htm Compatibility charts (with errors). This is about right though.
http://www.glaucus.org.uk/Types-Comm.htm Compatability types. The two figures represent the incoming and outgoing parts of the personality. e.g. INTP x INFJ 15 + 7 which means the INTP understands the INFJ better than the other way around.
Just spotted this and have printed it out. Where did you get the origial figures from - it looks like a book of logarithms. EG. Where do you get the 24 and 17 from in the case of the ESTJ and how do you score them - on what - ? I.ve seen how you come to the conc. from figs aslike finndings logs, but where did you get the r-original figs fro. You are so scientific.
I think I'd prefer living on your planet. I hate this one.
The compatability charts were posted on a web forum. The book they were copied from was not mentioned. It is part (a small part) of the Psychology graduate course UK, but this probably came from America. It seems to contain transmission mistakes. I recopied the figures on to a spreadsheet.
Thank you Perseus for letting me know. I am who I am and do not pretend to be other than who I am. I couldn't give a damn whether I impress people or not. and hope that some people are adult enough to accept that..
I concur with your purple comments which I have analysed as an NP characteristic and I had you as NJ Informative. If I was like that I would be keen on informing you, which I am not. I don't mind, but it is not compulsive. I hope your flu is improving. It is now a new lease of life for me. I have found once before a serious illness can realign my perspectives. I just want to wake alive.
Thank you Perseus for your comments. You can inform me any time you like. There are many facets to my personality and I ain't sticking to the one that suits society. If I feel like doing something then I flippin well will, but nothing that would cause hurt, least not deliberately. I hope you prefer the green as is perhaps more mellow than the purple.Did the purple smack you in the eye. Well you can smack me back with a colour you don't like if it makes you feel better. You chose brown. Is that one in the eye for me. Ouch - don't like brown, it is gloomy. But hell, I love colour. Life would be hellish dull without it. I am so pleased you have a new lease of life and may good health be yours. I am still coughing and felt very low today, but that will pass. January is such a gloomy month anyhow. I am a proper scruff today, hair needs washing it is hanging in rats tails and I have slopped round the house in my old jeans and jumper. I have to get myself sort of tidy as I have to see my doctor in the morning - perhaps I should go as I am and then he might get a better idea as to how I feel. I sometimes think you are a bit of a wind-up merchant and when are you going to get to write Sweet Thursday play edition.. I bet you don't ever do it. I appreciate your advice very much so I will sign of know as a bit of NP and NF and heaven knows what else - but I sure hope that they ain't badduns.
It was not meant to be brown. I pressed the wrong button.
I was only joking about the colour brown, but it is not my fave. Colour can reflect mood, anger if red, blue if sad, yellow if happy etc. I think I have chosen green today, because the sun is shining and soon everything will be coming up roses ... I hope. So what bit of personality am I today. I did another test on this Cafe a couple of days ago and it came out as Extraverted..........................X............ .....................Introverted Sensing........................................... ...........X.............Intuitive Thinking.......................................... .......X...................Feeling Judging...........X............................... ...........................Perceiving It was the 41 Question 1 Personality Test (Free) and it says I am an "Engaged Idealist" whatever that means! and my best career paths would be diplomats (ha!ha!) politicians (help! oh no!) clergy ( give us our daily bread - amen), writers (if only I could) actors (done a bit of that) designers ( like that) homemakers (naturally one) musicians ( well, I think I am a bit of one anyway). It seems that these tests are "designed" to fit everyone, to lure you on to the next test which you have to pay for !! Am I being mean? or just wise.
The mellow brown tones of different woods. Tree Dyad
Tinkerbelle: the tests vary and expecially the E function which is necessary for survival.
you're just a mellow fellow !!
Maybe like a little turtle poking its wee head of its shell? But I wouldn't be squashed because I could turn back into a skylark and fly off over the sea.
