In which you get to learn about the Tyvlaits. Though there isn't as much on them as there is for the Aivines. I'm working on it (and everyone else for that matter) as frequently as possible.


The Tyvlaits are water folk, mermaids, if you will. They reside in the Metis sea that is to the left of Vashkala. The naim of the Tyvlait's watery country is Karappin.

They spend much of their time below the water but there is also a palace and small town located about of the water on an island for trading with those who aren't water breathers and visitors to the kingdom.

They are mostly artisans and architects. Many of the statues found in the Thelasonian kingdom were done by Tyvlaits.

They have two forms, their fishy forms which offer up a varity of colors/styles of fish tail. Their skin also has a seaweedy green color to it. Above land they look human enough except for the slight green sheen to their complexion.

Residents of Karappin

Aurelia, the queen: She's been the ruler for a very long time and often acts as a mentor to anyone who asks for her guidance.
Nen, the king: The king is really mostly just a political figure as the country is a matriarchy while the other two are ruled under patriarchies.
Kailani: The daughter and product of a brief love affair between her and King Kimball (Gwyn's grandfather and yes, she is that old.) before either settled down into marriage.
