Well, nuff said. Happy leap day! I'm a believer in celebrating non-conventional holidays, and what more eccentric a time of year to celebrate than a day that comes only once every four years?

So happy leap day everyone! How I am I going to celebrate it? Well, same way students celebrate everything I guess...with a few beers, and...that's pretty much it. Ah well, it's still as good an excuse as any for having a little party!

Don't get me wrong. I love it here. There are lots of great people, challenging discussions, and I've learned a lot about myself and those around me.

But...why personality? Why this? Why, when so many intellectual interests have come and gone INTP-style, did this one stay with me and grow into an all-consuming passion?

I guess it can be summed up in three simple words: people are everywhere. Pretty much everything we do in our lives involves people in some way, ...

It's hard not to notice how omnipresent "Happy Holidays" has become. I remember it was easy to find plastered all over December advertisements growing up, but cashiers still wished you a "Merry Christmas". Now the holiday gets nary a mention. Christmas Rice Krispies are now Holiday Rice Krispies. We have Holiday Trees, not Christmas Trees. Holiday Cheer...Holiday Pudding...it's almost comical. What's the point of it all? The Holidays are Christmas. Everything goes on like it ...
