It's been about 4 weeks now since the surgery and honestly it feels like it's been much longer. The swelling has gone down considerably, no longer bruised all over and I'm actually able to do some very minor things around the house. I'm still protecting it with a lose brace so I don't end up repeating one stupid mistake, especially while sleeping. Basically what happened is I ended up pushing myself out of bed while half-asleep, I think 2 days after the surgery. Calling it the worst pain I think ...
Just had the surgery a few days ago and I got to finally take the bandages off today. Here is what it looks like. Don't worry, it looks worse than it feels :P It's more awkward than anything. I feel like I have to cup my hand right now but in a few days I'm getting the stitches taken out and all will be good. Still can't use it for anything but at least I can fully bathe now! XD
