Your Waves Move Over Me

I'm lost in the rhythm of the sea; slow, rolling waves sloshing toward land, kissing the shore and my feet; retreating back only to return again, so cold and familiar. Your heartbeat resounds throughout me--a warmth passing over me against the chill of the salty breeze. The waves draw back and I'm almost pulled into it--the ocean's darkness--but I stand firm and unmoved, anchored to you. I'm lost in your arms--my body meshing with yours--as your hands move over me, like the ebb and flow of the waves in the dark night. I'm a slave to it; I can't escape the calm of your voice, your breath hot in my ear--so warm and inviting, I'm consumed by the comfort. My heart sings for you a joyous, mellow song, that not much different from the foamy waters crashing gently against our tangled ankles. In this moment I belong to you. I want to feel you as the sea does the sand in its subtle but sudden way. I want to give in to your waves; come sinking into great depths unexplored, far from pain, and strife, and plight, and shame. I want to be yours.

I have an odd reaction to music like this that I can't understand. I would think that typically, music like this would be relaxing, but it makes my mind try to fill the lack of loudness and chaos with its own.

And most classical music makes me feel like I'm going insane.
