Oh Heavy Feeling:
For some reason today, I could not get "Goyte's, Someone that I used to know" out of my head this morning. The first time it came across my path, was after seeing a band called "Walk off the Earth", play the acoustic cover, and it grabbed me. I then heard it on the radio and it grabbed me again (not sure still which version). But it was profoundly felt, in another dimension sort of way. Whenever I hear it, it makes me want to cry and literally have to close my eyes and stand still and then the rocking starts. Close to home, it feels like and then like something is healing, within.
Then today I became obsessed in that INFJ, looking for the pattern, the clue thing, ..... the research of anyone and anything connected to the song. A ravenous investigation of all things "Wally" insued. It's a wild ride from record, writers, to inspiration, to (Luiz Bonfa's Seville), to Kimbra, Grey's Anatomy, to Kate Bush's, Cloudbusting (orgone and the weather), to cigar boxes and mandolins and back and forth, and a wild cloud I saw this weekend. Arghhhh!
His song "Someone that I used to know" is not an ordinary song, as no songs are to me. I really feel them, every pulse, every note (sampled and it's connections). This music takes me on a ride, helps my painting, helps my peace of mind, makes me feel like I'm not alone and that someone knows me and knows we INFJ'S need a little uplifting and to find our true north, when the world is so unkind and ugly, our hearts can connect and once that is done (in our so few numbers), we can heal and reach out to the masses and attempt to heal them also.
A LITTLE BIT OF SUNSHINE AND CLEANSING RAIN, AMONGST THE CLOUDS, JUST BEFORE THE RAINBOW ARRIVES.-law
