I've been dreaming like mad lately! It is surprising because for years I could never remember a dream upon waking. But the past month or so I've awoken to vivid images and memories of dreams 3-4 times/week. An old Jewish proverb states "Don't pray for lighter burdens, pray for a stronger back". It would seem that in all religious texts, no matter your religion, God makes no apology for pain and suffering. In fact, I have come to understand there is a sacred relationship between suffering and spirituality, if we learn to listen and endure it well.
I think I'm winding down my time here. The reasons that brought me here are dwindling. The parts of my life that were not all I wanted and that I tried to avoid via this escape are looking better than they used to. The feelings I shared here have blown away. The annoyances and muddled contention that is ever present here is now louder than the interest or the learning.
