When I was 13 years old, I went to the house of my close friend then. We walked upstairs of their townhouse and showed me their terrace. She meant balcony by her word terrace. I went because we had a group work in which we have to do interpretative dance and she's my partner. Her name is Eleonor. Then later upon my surprise, she sings this song "Anatani, anatano", a Japanese song. She sings this because they have cassette tapes which her mother brought. I was wondering if it is a popular song from Japan. By the way her mom works in Japan. I could easily remember and recognize the song and the tune. It's easy to sing-along to.

Then, 14 years later, when me and my family went to a vacation at a beach I heard this song for the second time, because we were just next to the cottage who played this song. I recognize the tune instantly and I remember the first time I heard it at my classmate's house. It was a relaxing song. Sounds like an anime song. I got frustrated because they didn't finish the song, and instead they played a Tagalog song that is more familiar. I've gotten a "last song syndrome" about the Japanese song since then, and the tune and the lyrics keeps playing in my head. Then I googled and searched youtube, and this is the lyrics and the English translation. I like the lyrics and the melody. It is a song from my memory. Now I can play and listen to the whole song.
