I was thinking that maybe a good way to help type me would be to explain how others in my life see me, so I'm going to list some of the comments/remarks that I have heard people have say about me over the years. Some of these remarks actually made me feel bad about myself when I heard them, but they are probably true nonetheless.

What is the simplest physical expression of love?

A hug.

Two people embracing. It does feel good. But from a distance, with arms encircled, the two people are bound together. They are not free. Their individual will cannot be expressed. One's movement is dependent upon the other. You must compromise for the sake of the relationship. And as we know, in compromises, you never win. You never get what you really want.

The motto, "no compromises" ...

So here I sit, at 1 in the morning. I rarely if ever stay up this late anymore. I am sort of in this pensive melancholy mood without the sad part I guess, if that makes any sense. Sometimes I wish it would show the time in between each entry or what have you because I have been sitting here for quite awhile thinking and now I believe that possibly I am more melancholy sad than I initially thought.
