So after rolling through his movie, "Midnight In Paris" a couple times already. Alright, more like five times, I've become a convert over to his films and plan to start amassing a collection of his movies (cult-ish?). Unfortunately he's sparked off a couple of ideas for me revolving around writing a book. Only catch is that I suck at creative writing and would probably have to sell my soul in order to get it published for a profit. (Food doesn't magically appear on my table!)

Either way I'm still working out the details in my head and where this whole fiasco will lead me. Easily said that this will probably take a large chunk of my time once I start pursuing this more ardently. I'm thinking a down-to-earth gritty realism that escapes into a backlash of drama and culture will the premise for the book. Theatrics are always rolling through my head, and just maybe I can stop being so damn pedantic with my writing.

Honestly though, I loved the portrayal of Hemingway in that movie. Sure the character wasn't as fleshed out as I'd like, but hell.....drinking, writing, and overall dark doom and gloom nature over everything. What more could one aspire for? Needless to say I shouldn't emulate everything he did, though I think that rough experiences tend to shape most authors I like.

Aside from that, I recommend that movie most definitely. Deuces.
