I was very frustrated before bed last night and I knew that I needed to calm down. I had a draining experience with my 3 year old last night during teeth brushing time before bed. Might not sound that bad but it was and has been for over a week.
So my blood pressure was through the roof then I had to hear my boyfriend say " I wonder what YOU are doing wrong? He doesn't act that way with me, he's a angel with me." *rolling my eyes* he's just so freakin perfect it makes me sick.
Well I finally drifted off to sleep in the darkness only to have some strange man standing over me with a very ugly face coming closer and closer to me.
So as I do when I have my night terrors I screamed bloody murder. My 13 year old ran in my room asking me why I was screaming. I told him I saw something. He shook his head and walked back out. He's a INTP by the way. but I'm glad that he at least was concerned about my screams b/c he doesn't care about a lot of stuff.
So I was scared like a child and slept with a nightlight on. The night terrors are so real. I often sense a presence in my room, probably because when I am sleeping they are there (but I feel like I'm awake when it happens).
It's always the same, some creepy man or a dark shadow figure coming towards me to get me! So freaking scary! When I get ready to fight back I start screaming or will jump out of bed then I wake up and realize it wasn't real.
All I could do was pray. I did call my boyfriend and told him what happened and he was very supportive as he usually is about this kind of a thing.
The mind is a tricky thing I tell you.
