What would happen if you tried to equate socionics to mbti directly? It would become a jumbled mess, and some mbti personalities would disappear entirely.

Lets say you wanted to convert mbti to socionics. Lets rearrange this forum into what it would look like afterward.

the ESTJ forum would be completely empty and all shift over to the ESTP forum. The ESTP forum members would branch off to ENTP and ESFP forums. The ENFP forum would split halfway and send 50% of its members to ENTP and ENFJ forums. The ENFJ forum would remain where it is. The ISTP forum would be left with maybe one or two members who like to talk about their cats and how the flowers are pretty today, the rest would be ENTP, INTP, or ISTJ.

ISFP and ISFJ forum would merge into one, doesn't really matter which, lets go ahead and put them all into the ISFP forum since they're more percieverish anyway. The ISFJ forum would be left with the women who are basically the perfect wives for ENTJ's, and the barrack obamas. The INFJ forum would send half its members to INFP forum, the other half to ISFP rendering the INFJ forum vacant to be inhabited by a bunch of people who care way too much about how others are feeling, and everyone wants to hate-sex them for being too nice.

The ENTP forum would more or less remain the same.

The ENTJ forum would probably be the same.

The INTJ forum would split off and sends half its members to ISTJ and ENTP forums.

ESFJ forum would be more populated with members from ESFP and ENFJ forums. ESFP forum would also be populated by all the ESTP's that shifted over.

Hmm, what's left, INTP forum would grow with a few more INTJ's and ENTP's.

That's pretty much it. ESTJ, ISFJ, INFJ, and ISTP forums would be almost completely empty. We can instead fill all of these forums with enneagram 9's and 6's who otherwise can't find a home.
