  1. Comments on Anger

    by , 05-07-2011 at 06:24 PM
I had a friend who was a very successful businessman. He bought and sold real estate. One time he was with one of his clients whom he'd worked with on many deals in the past. I will call him Richard, and his client Mura. Richard arrived to work on the day's deal, but his heart was not in it. He was upset. Mura told him, "You are not ready to work with Mura today. You and Mura have made many good deals in the past. You go outside and find a box. Kick that box. Step on that box. Yell at that ...

  2. My MBTI Journey

    by , 04-14-2011 at 07:05 PM
I struggled with growing up. I struggled in college. I struggled in the work place. Eventually, when I was retired by my company, I had to face the new challenge of finding a new job. I was aware, for a couple years, that life shouldn't be so difficult. Knowing I am plenty smart, I set out to figure out just what the problem was.

I checked the average temperatures, and it looks like another month before the average daily high will hit freezing.
How do you make lemonade with a long, sucky winter?
The days are getting longer, true. I found the can of decaf, so I can ...

  4. Consulting for Telemarketers

I was sitting back enjoying my day today when I received a phone call from someone letting me know that there would be a truck in the area to pick up my donations of slightly worn clothing, shoes, whatever they take. There are quite a number of these trucks, and the phone calls are quite numerous. We do give to them on occasion, but at this point, we are basically "gived out". The solicitations continue. I've checked the law on this, and the law states that if you have done business with ...
  5. MBTI Dynamics in Religious Politics

    by , 01-20-2011 at 08:13 AM
I am a member of a mainstream Christian Denomination. I have been quite active in my church. The really best way to get something out of church is to serve on a committee because you get to know the people you work with on that committee much better than you would in church or during coffee hour. In smaller groups, you tend to have the time and become familiar with each other. Decisions are made, and everyone seems to get their 2 cents put in, though there comes a time when votes occur, and decisions ...
