Digger Blue

Today I suited up in a safety harness, then clipped a lanyard to it, and secured it to a fork lift. I was then hoisted 40' up where I fired up a chainsaw and removed chunks of tree limbs so that the limbs would not break and fall onto the house. My technique was good enough that I was not only able to make the limbs fall away from the house, but I wrapped a strap around the limb so as it fell, the limb would rotate free from the strap, but the strap would swing it further away from the house in the process. I was able to repeat this with the strap many times. The technique worked well. I used a large Lull fork truck which I got to use, which is what I would consider an "ultimate" boy toy. The chainsaws were fun, too. I came dragging in smelling of diesel and chainsaw oil. Fortunately I was not asked by a cop on the way home, "What have you been drinking?!" (Diesel fuel and chainsaw oil, buddy!). I think I got my exercise for the day.
