Ramblings of an over-observant mind

I've been thinking lately, (when do I not?) and have come to the conclusion that many people are idiots. I know that that conclusion was reached long ago, but my keen observance of society has produced interesting, if not surprising, results. First of all, many human beings (I'm speaking of some Americans, mind you) are insensitive and boorish, uncaring of the feelings and thoughts of others. They walk rudely past, unaware of the damage they do to others. Second, their intelligence isn't quite what it used to be. I've also noticed a slight decline in the literacy of others, and am somewhat worried about this. Is it just coincidence?

Reader, please bear with me, as these are only ramblings, and are not meant to cause any physical or psychological harm to others. I am sure there are many more fine people in this world. ^^
