I was contemplating life today, my life that is. As I was thinking about different things that have occurred over the years and where I want to see myself in the future, I came up with a mental checklist of things I have learned. So, without further ado, here is some of that checklist:
-Always always spend time with the ones you love. The regrets you have when you come to the end of your years will not be related to the position you have at work, the money you make, or the stuff

I went with my daughter to our first ASL class last night. It was an awesome experience. I love learning this language, especially learning it with my daughter. Even more, I was so inspired by a young man in the class.
This particular young man has cerebral palsy. He was barely able to coordinate walking, yet, he still used all of his effort to coordinate his hands to make the intricate signs of the ASL language.

If a person can Facebook several times, but not return a personal text within a reasonable period of time, I have no use for them. I don't consider Facebook as true friendship. Maybe that is why I have no use for Facebook... or MySpace, for that matter.
