It is the discontent struggle to build the greater society... They build a greater society, because they know the flaws of the previous society, and they wish a better future for their children. It takes hard work on behalf of these discontented souls to build this society.

It is their hard work.. their struggle... that they wish to free their children from.

However, their children, do not remember the discontent. They grow up and reap the rewards of what their fathers and mothers had built. They become content... their work ethic decreases... they refuse to see that what they have taken for granted is crumbling due to their laziness.

This happens to all great empires. Look throughout history... it is the nomads... the vagabonds... the barbarians... the discontent that are strong... who topple empires... who lead the great invasions of history.

And it is always the decadent and content that crumble to ashes.

But how do we build a society where humanity is content... without suffering the negative effects of the corresponding decrease in work ethic caused by being too content?

Because if we do not build such a society... the American empire too, will collapse down because we're simply too content to match the work ethic of our grandfathers and great grandfathers. Our tower too, will crumble.
