Esoteric Enchantment

I've been hoping for a fairy tale ending
All this time trying to mend
Whatever wasn't broken in the first place
I always chase after things that can't be chased
I guess I could be called foolish for having hope and dreams
It only seems to be that I can never let go


For some reason love is never by my side
All I ever wanted was someone aside me
Some reason to believe
That I wasn't in this world to be alone
But experiences leave me torn
To believe that happiness doesn't exist
I wish I could give up hope
Why am I never able to cope
With the reality that I can't expect anything from anyone
I wish I could be done
With this search for some true love
In such an impure world
But maybe there'll be some hope
