Okay, after my thread I created about my issues with an INTJ, I'm going to list only one more, but figured I'd post at as a blog instead of a thread. So I mentioned that I have trouble with one INTJ female in particular. She's just kind of mean? But I'm not sure where my INFPness and her INFJness clash, or whether or not she's just a bitch.

So I read that INTJ's love to debate, and if they don't debate you on a subject, than they deem it unworthy of a debate. So this INTJ "friend" of mine constantly complains about how people don't recycle and are not conscious about their eco-footprint. A noble cause, I would say. But the problem is that she's really rude and pushy about it. "You need to recycle that" "you shouldn't drink out of that cup" "don't order the shrimp" and it's constant. SO annoying. Her approach is all wrong.


So one day I started discussing government and politics, and certain policies that congress has put into play regarding the environment. I even mentioned a specific case about Styrofoam cups in schools and how Republicans blocked the ban in California. This was followed by a completely blank stare and then she changed the subject. So she has no problem criticizing others for their personal environmental choices, but she doesn't give a hoot about policy and people that actually make a difference regarding the environment? That makes NO sense to me. How can you care about a problem but not participate in resolution for that problem? Anyone that knows anything about conservation, conscious consuming and environmental policies knows that individual responsibilities can only take you so far. It's companies and large organizations that have the most eco impact.


It's just one thing after another with this girl. She stands firm on her ground about everything, until I try to open a dialogue about it. It seems as though she thinks herself so much smarter than me, and when I should interest or knowledge in a subject, she refuses to debate me. This is something I find confusing after what I have read about this type (and she is, without a doubt, INTJ!)

So what do you say, do we have an INTJ under stress or just a flat out bitch? Is this relationship even worth salvaging?
