    good point. if ideas and decisions were made off of present feelings only, if life was known through present feelings only, it would be a highly superficial way to be. it's more like a sense of tidal patterns and phases of the moon, the deep and subtle shifts, as much as the forces of whatever currents we may currently (pun?) be standing in and feeling in any given moment.

    maybe that's something hard for those who don't understand to understand. i can't imagine trying to understand it without having to experience it. though i imagine all types are aware of this to some extent, this emotional context and connection.
