Extraverted functions: Explanations and examples

Just trying to clarify my own understanding by writing this up. Why not share it with you guys? There are some dialogues included that could shed some light on the behavior of these stereotypes. Please point out if there are some contradictions or inaccurate stuff.

Extraverted sensing
(Se) is a perceiving function and therefore extraverted sensors perceive more than they judge. They are laid-back, because as perceivers they would rather take one day at a time and go with the flow. Extraverted sensors are spontaneous and they would rather adapt to their environment than control it. They dislike following plans and making promises. Extraverted sensors enjoy experiences and they are sensual. They enjoy movement and interaction with their surroundings, without physical activity they feel bored. They like to touch things and they have keen senses. They enjoy tasty foods, great wines, sunbathing, night clubs and physical comforts. They live in the moment and they are good at improvising, tackling challenges as they arise. This enables them to interact with their surroundings without stopping to think things through. They are realistic and believe things are as they appear to be.

"Hey, Steve! Would you like to hang out with me and my friends this evening?"
- "Ummm... what would we exactly be doing?"
- "I don't know, we'd meet at my place, I'm sure we'll come up with something!"

"Did you notice that Steve has bought a new Mercedes?"
- "I hadn't heard yet. He must be rich! Stinking rich!"

Extraverted intuition (Ne) is a perceiving function and therefore extraverted intuitors perceive more than they judge. They are laid-back, because as perceivers they would rather take one day at a time and go with the flow. Extraverted intuitors are spontaneous and they would rather adapt to their environment than control it. They dislike following plans and making promises. Extraverted intuitors enjoy coming to new realizations and they are imaginative. They enjoy understanding things and taking in new information, without new and interesting information they feel bored. They like to generate new ideas and they have active imaginations. They enjoy newspapers, magazines, books and people that share their thoughts and people who enthusiastically listen to them. Everything new interests them. They live quite a lot in their heads and they are good at seeing possibilities and generating ideas. They see the big picture and relationships between things. Their ideas are usually creative, based on assumptions and often lack details. They believe things are more than can be seen on the surface. All things are part of a connected whole, part of the big picture.

"Hey, John! Have you heard the news?"
- "Yes, I have. There was a bombing incident in Russia if that's what you are referring to. They haven't caught the bomberman yet... he could be a she, though. Do you remember the game "Bomberman"? That was a fun game!"
- "Yeah, I do remember. It was fun." (nods)
- "Hopefully they'll catch the bomber, but you can be sure it takes ages if the Russian police lacks funds as much as our police." (laughs)

"Did you notice that Steve has bought a new Mercedes?"
- "Oh really? He is such a show off! We all know he is penniless, but still he has to have an expensive car to impress others that don't know of his financial problems. I bet he can't afford going to restaurants anymore."

That's it for now. I shall continue on some later date. :proud:

Except if it's paired with Fi, like ESFPs. They love to control others to improve their feelings and associated self-image.
